Referral Program Terms

The reward

$1,000 for a referred home where solar is actually installed, plus $250 one time if a battery is installed in that same project. Maximum $1,250 per home.

One reward per job. The homeowner must choose to credit you.
Paid only after the install is complete, Grid Protocol has received its commission for that job, and an admin has verified and approved it.
Nothing is paid for clicks, introductions, signed agreements, or signing up other partners.

The amount recorded when the homeowner credits you is the amount honored, even if the policy changes later. Earnings are not guaranteed.

Program rules

Free to join. No fee, purchase, or quota.
You are not an employee. You are not authorized to make promises for Grid Protocol.
A reward is earned only after solar is installed, Grid Protocol has received its commission, and an admin approves it.
The reward amount is locked in when the homeowner credits you, even if the policy changes later.
One reward per home. Repeat requests from the same homeowner do not earn extra.
Canceled jobs and disputed duplicates are not paid.
Nothing is paid for signing up other partners.
Grid Protocol may change or end the pilot. Rewards that are already approved are honored.

Credit and consent

A referral is credited only when the homeowner submits their own request and chooses to credit your link. We do not add attribution for you, and we never share the homeowner's name, contact details or answers with you. Your portal shows status only, as the homeowner consented.

How you must share

Ask before sending your link, stop if someone says no, and always include this disclosure: “I’m a Grid Pros referral partner and may earn a referral reward if you go solar through my link.”. Never promise savings, free equipment, approval or backup time. You are not an employee of Grid Protocol LLC and cannot make promises on our behalf.

Payment

Rewards move through: recorded → eligible after verified installation and received commission → approved by an admin → paid and recorded with a reference and date. Payment is made outside this website. Canceled jobs and disputed duplicates are not paid. You are responsible for your own taxes.

Changes and contact
