Who we are

Grid Protocol LLC is a private solar and battery sales business. We are not a utility, a government office, or affiliated with either.

What we collect

  • What you type into our request form: name, phone, email if you give one, ZIP and state, home ownership, what you care about, your rough monthly bill if you share it, and how you want to be contacted.
  • Your contact permission choices and the exact wording you agreed to, with the date and time.
  • A requested consultation date and time window, if you ask for one.
  • Basic technical information: a one-way hashed form of your network address (used only to limit spam), and the marketing source of your visit if there is one.
  • A referral code, only if you arrived through a partner link and chose to credit that partner.

While you fill in the request form, this browser tab keeps your non-personal choices (like your plan, state, ZIP and which step you are on) so a refresh does not restart you. After your request is saved, it keeps a short summary (plan, state, projects and how to reply, and a requested day and time of day if you asked for one). This tab storage holds no name, phone, email, bill amount, medical choice, permission choice or access code, is never sent to us or used for tracking, and is deleted when you close the tab, start a new request, or after 24 hours.

Our calculator runs in your browser. The numbers you type there are not sent to us or saved on our side.

How we use it

  • To contact you about your request, using the method you chose.
  • To prepare and discuss your solar or battery options and, if you move forward, to work with installation and financing partners on your project.
  • To keep our own records of requests, conversations and appointments.
  • Website analytics events are limited to page and step names. They never include your name, phone, email or address.

Who sees it

Our own approved team members. We also use service providers to run this site and store data, and if you move forward we share what is needed with installation, equipment and financing partners for your project. We do not sell your information. If a partner referred you and you chose to credit them, they see only that a referral progressed — never your name, contact details or answers.

Your choices

  • You can ask us to stop contacting you at any time. Email marcel@grid-protocol.com or call (813) 532-3139.
  • You can ask for a copy of your request, a correction, or deletion. Send the request to the same contact. We review each request by hand and reply; we may keep records we need for legal, tax or dispute reasons.
  • Marketing permission is separate and off unless you check it yourself.

Keeping information

We keep request and conversation records for as long as we are working with you and afterwards for our business records. There is no automatic deletion schedule; deletion happens after a reviewed request.
